Job Summary

We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the inn during the night shift. This includes greeting and checking in guests, handling enquiries, and maintaining the cleanliness and security of the premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Duty Manager and take charge of the night shift
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues
  • Manage the front of house area, including the bar, reception, and restaurant
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks, using the till and handling cash and credit transactions
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the inn, including the restaurant, lounge, and toilets
  • Perform security checks and maintain the safety and security of the premises
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
