Job Title: Executive Officer

Salary: £17.82 hourly rate + 34 days annual leave (accrued pro rata)

Location: Sevington

Working hours: 4 on 4 off fixed Days Monday - Sunday. Shift times are 7am - 7:30pm

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of documentary functions on goods before they are cleared in to and from the United Kingdom. You will need to be self-motivated, flexible and prepared to work across a range of duties in support of the nation's critical activities. The role is based at one specific location and does not offer remote working opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a highly visible manager, responsible for team performance and development
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Gather information directly from customers accurately
  • Input information into systems, ensuring details are entered correctly and promptly
  • Resolve issues/queries or escalate to a line manager as necessary

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience managing a team within an administrative or customer service environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and a positive attitude
  • Good administrative skills, with experience working with different Microsoft packages
  • Availability for the full duration of your assignment
  • Willingness to undergo a health assessment to ensure suitability for the role
