About the Role

As a highly experienced Hotel Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success and strategic growth within our Accor hotel portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, providing comprehensive financial reports, and managing the finance relationship with operations and head office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Planning and Forecasting process to ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective financial management systems to improve efficiency and information quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in hotel operations and finance.
  • Provide high-quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant.
  • Optimise balance sheets, P&L, cash management, capital, and other key financial metrics.
  • Deliver innovative and value-adding Management Reporting and Analysis.
  • Proactively support the General Manager in hotel strategic planning, focusing on value opportunities.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-quality Finance Team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hotel finance experience, ideally in a Finance Manager/Financial Controller role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating requirements from a financial and legal perspective.
  • Technical skills with a strong understanding of compliance requirements, best practice hotel operations, finance function set up, and standard systems.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits, including healthcare and pension plans. The estimated annual salary range is £80,000 - £100,000 based on location and experience.
