About the Role

Pearson is seeking a skilled End Point Assessor to join our team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the quality of apprenticeships. As an End Point Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the skills and knowledge of apprentices, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards set by employers.

Key Responsibilities

As an End Point Assessor, you will:

  • Assess the performance of apprentices in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures, ensuring overall standards are maintained.
  • Follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials and quality assurance protocols, relating to the end-point assessments.
  • Maintain service-level agreements with regards to responding to end-point assessment planning, operational activities, reports and submissions of assessment outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have the competence to assess the apprentice at this level and hold any required qualifications and experience in line with the requirements of the independent assessor as detailed in the IQA section of this EPA plan.
  • Understand the occupational standard and the requirements of this EPA.
  • Have, maintain and be able to evidence up-to-date knowledge and expertise of the subject matter.

Additional Requirements

As a minimum, you will:

  • Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification, or a qualification that meets the criteria as set by Department for Education.
  • Have 2 years postgraduate relevant experience within Early Years Practice, with ongoing CPD through employment as an independent assessor.
  • Hold a DBS Certificate and Assessor qualification.

Working Arrangements

This role requires a minimum of two working days during the week to be dedicated to end-point assessment activities.

Language

This role is available for candidates with English as their native language.
