About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Space Planning Manager to join our Amazon Fresh UK team. As a key member of our merchandising and space planning team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the design and implementation of our store layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed floor plans for new stores, retrofits, and special projects, ensuring seamless integration with our merchandising and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to inform design decisions and enhance customer experiences.
  • Work closely with merchandising teams to ensure accurate planograms and effective space utilization.
  • Develop and present analytics and KPIs to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  • Identify key customer metrics and utilize them to enhance customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., retail management, interior design, or a related field).
  • Experience using space planning software for floor plan production (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder).
  • Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in independently identifying and delivering data-driven operational improvement projects.
  • Experience in designing and implementing new processes, working backwards from customer requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams within a physical retail environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL and ability to leverage data insights to inform design decisions.
