Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a management team of two direct reports and 120 indirect reports to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational forecasting and planning strategies to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement.
  • Form a management team that fosters a culture of employee engagement, high performance, and succession planning.
  • Drive outstanding customer service excellence by championing health, safety, and quality activities across the operation.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives through effective LEAN and Financial KPI targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all operational performance activities, investigating problematic issues or failures, and implementing solutions and protective measures to mitigate future risk.
  • Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and yearly business reviews, creating reporting packs for the customer on operational KPIs, metrics, and overall performance.
  • Build credible internal and external relationships, challenging the status quo, and managing complex matters.
  • Implement corrective actions and ensure activities are in line with operational and contractual budgetary targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of resource and budget management.
  • Experience of designing and developing commercial contracts.
