About the Role

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function, reporting directly to the Finance Director in Europe. You will take ownership of month-end reporting, ensure balance sheet reconciliations are up-to-date and accurate, and maintain and develop monthly reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function
  • Reporting directly to the Finance Director in Europe
  • Taking responsibility for month-end reporting
  • Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations are updated and correct
  • Maintain and develop monthly reporting tools
  • Conduct regular review meetings with the Commercial and Operational departments
  • Support annual budget and forecasting processes
  • Ensure processes and controls are in place in the finance function
  • Managing the stock control processes
  • Analysing costs and making suggestions based on your findings
  • Review the functionality of the system to drive improvements in reports
  • Finance lead on key business projects
  • Cash reporting
  • Support the Finance Director as and when required
Requirements
  • ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ideally have experience as a Financial Controller
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing business
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
