Job Description

**Job Title:** Project Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at MET Recruitment UK LTD. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including training and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Previous experience as a project engineer in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent project tracking software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
