We are seeking a motivated Conference Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group UK&I. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in promoting our iconic London landmark venues and driving revenue growth.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position, contracted to 40 hours per week, with a competitive estimated salary of £28,000-£32,000 per annum.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality work, raising the profile of the company with existing and new clients, and proactively processing event enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Raise the profile of the company with existing and new clients through effective communication and relationship-building.
  2. Promptly respond to all incoming sales enquiries, drive conversion rate, arrange site visits, and contract booking.
  3. Proactively process event enquiries and actively work as part of the sales team to increase and enhance revenues achieving overall targets.
  4. Conduct reactive sales activities including responding to telephone and e-mail enquiries.
  5. Proactively sell the facilities by various techniques and always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations.
  6. Work with event planners effectively in order to provide a seamless handover for final event details.
  7. Nurture client relationships to maximise all upselling and sales opportunities.
  8. Network with internal and external stakeholders.
