We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Special Education Support Professional, you will work closely with an autistic child in a mainstream school, providing individualized support to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children of similar age groups and possess excellent communication skills. A teaching assistant qualification or higher is preferred, but not essential. Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable, although some training may be provided by the company.

In return for your expertise and dedication, Prospero Teaching offers a competitive salary of £95+ per day, along with the opportunity to develop your skills through accredited continued professional development courses, including behavior management. Our In-house Training and Development Team is committed to supporting your growth as a professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to an autistic child in a mainstream school setting
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to cater to the child's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, and provide two professional child-related references.
