Special Education Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate primary school teacher to join our inclusive school community. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and sensory or communication difficulties.
- Create tailored lesson plans that inspire engagement, independence, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and families to ensure each child's unique needs are met.
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience in teaching children with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and the ability to differentiate effectively.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training and a DBS check on the Update Service preferred.
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Smile Education offers competitive rates of pay, on-time weekly pay, flexible working arrangements, free training opportunities, and ongoing support throughout your employment.
