About the Role


This role is responsible for supporting IFM transitions for new accounts, expansions, or renewals utilizing JLL Corporate Solutions, standard processes, and best practices. Evaluation of clients/accounts for need, value, and readiness for Reliability & Asset Management and Engineering Services' activities is also a key part of this role. The ideal candidate will have experience driving and deploying large-scale initiatives and programs across varied people, assets, and geographies. They will also have a broad understanding of various IFM commercial structures and implications of each related to operational delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support IFM transitions for new accounts, expansions, or renewals utilizing JLL Corporate Solutions, standard processes, and best practices.
  • Evaluate clients/accounts for need, value, and readiness for Reliability & Asset Management and Engineering Services' activities.
  • Utilizing a combination of existing and new tools, prepare strategy, systems, and action plans for implementation of Engineering solutions for client sites.
  • Implement action plans through a variety of resources, to include self, direct reports, matrixed reports, peers, clients, and third-party firms.
  • Monitor, communicate, and escalate project status.
  • Provide account team induction, onboarding, and training as per global new account engineering onboarding process and playbook.
  • Support the development and implementation of logbooks, engineering playbooks, and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Responsible for supporting the new accounts in IFM business in implementing standards aligned with JCAP (JLL Client Assurance Programme): i.e., provide training, mentoring, auditing the IFM business for compliance against in-country statutory compliance and JLL best practice.
  • Act as a contact for engineering support to accounts.
  • Enforce a zero-tolerance policy to unsafe working practices and target a zero-accident rate.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert across interrelated workstreams, such as Business Solutioning, Transition Management, Operational Management, Project Management, Consultancy, Compliance, and Audit.
  • Additional technical support to the IFM account leadership (FM's) in following areas: Support Smart Building operation and IOC (Intelligent Operations Centre) to leverage efficiency through technology, Provide escalation/crisis management for all accounts where JLL Engineering Services are engaged. Work as an authorising engineer (AE) supporting JLL's account embedded authorising persons (AP's) for High Voltage/Low Voltage, Confined Spaces, or Mechanical Pressure Systems, Liaise with the EHS team, assisting with any technical issues arising from an incident, near miss, investigation, or other circumstances which require an engineering subject matter expert, Conducting competency assessments of site teams, independent of the account to identify training needs, Management of scenario, integrated system, and black building testing, Independent advice of a technical nature, i.e., validating suppliers' recommendations, Assist account teams with the commercial review of engineering service providers, Liaise with procurement teams ensuring contracts with vendors are appropriate, i.e., specification-led, value for money, and performance metrics are clearly monitored.
  • Participate in the EMEA Engineering forum, driving innovation across accounts ensuring that best practice is being implemented consistently.
  • Undertake RCA (Root Cause Analysis) following an incident and manage corrective actions to full reinstatement.
