Job Title: Retail Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling stock, and working with the rest of the team to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and welcoming service to all customers
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for
  • Process transactions at the till, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
  • Handle stock with care, working deliveries and placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
  • Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy
Requirements:
  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work
  • To enjoy being busy, as there is always something to do
  • To be reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team
  • A bit of flexibility when it comes to your shifts
