We are seeking an experienced and qualified CDM Surveyor to join our repairs team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. As a key player, you will be responsible for conducting building inspections, diagnosing issues, and devising repair solutions for customer property problems, particularly damp, condensation, and disrepair issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough building inspections to identify potential issues and develop repair solutions
  • Collaborate with legal teams and contractors to ensure repairs adhere to regulations and mitigate liability from legal claims
  • Compile work schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to provide excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements

  • Extensive building surveying experience, especially in disrepair and related legislation
  • Relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar)
  • Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations and experience liaising with legal teams
  • Strong project management and budget control skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
