Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social Work Assistant to join our Area Services team at Service Care Solutions Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with social workers, supporting vulnerable children and young people in need.

About the Role
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children through thorough assessments and support.
  • Liaise with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement comprehensive support plans for families.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in care settings, preferably with children and/or families, showcasing your ability to provide dedicated support.
  • A valid full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle for travel between assignments.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines governing child care and protection.
  • A strong commitment to valuing diversity, promoting equality, and adhering to professional standards.

Benefits and Working Arrangements

  • Full-time position with 36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM.
  • Possibility of extension or permanent role based on performance and company needs.

Compensation Package

£17.24 per hour, reflecting the market rate for this position and location.
