About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board NHS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day care and support to service users under the supervision of a clinician, adhering to best practice, standards, and guidelines.
  • Work in partnership with service users, other members of the multidisciplinary team, and healthcare professionals to achieve the optimum health outcome for clients.
  • Contribute to the provision of a high and consistent level of holistic care, maintaining the dignity and equality of the individual.
Requirements
  • Willingness to undertake NVQ level 3 and complete within 2 years.
  • Knowledge of up to-date nursing techniques and mental health and substance misuse issues.
  • Registration with Care Standards Wales or prepared to gain registration within the first six months of employment.
  • Experience of working with people, particularly those with mental health and learning disabilities.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience within mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse, or primary care settings.
  • Experience of acute in-patient settings.
