About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in the Surgical Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses and practitioners in delivering holistic patient care, ensuring dignity and equality are maintained at all times.
  • Support patients in maintaining their personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Perform duties within the plan of care delegated by a qualified practitioner, ensuring you have the relevant training and assessment.
  • Prepare ward and clinical areas for receiving patients, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
  • Assist in the admission of new patients, preparing bed and trolley areas, welcoming patients, and directing them to their designated area.

Requirements
