About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-time Service Assistant. As a key member of our practice team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general assistance to the practice team, ensuring a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors.
  • Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service in a courteous, efficient, and effective way.
  • Process personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations, ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional or management.
  • Perform computer data entry, data allocation, and collation, as well as provide clerical assistance to practice staff as required.
Requirements
  • GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
  • RSA 3 or equivalent word processing and/or typing
  • NVQ Level 3 customer service
Desirable Skills
  • Excellent computer and clerical skills
  • Previous medical experience
  • Use of SystmOne system
