We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our team in Castleford or Wakefield.

Job Summary:

This role involves working with service users to support them in achieving their goals, providing advice, information, and psycho-social interventions as needed. The successful candidate will maintain regular contact with clients, assess risk management needs, and work closely with clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact with service users to provide support and guidance
  • Assess risk management needs and work closely with clinical staff
  • Provide advice, information, and psycho-social interventions as needed
  • Develop and implement plans to help service users achieve their goals

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health issues preferred
  • Degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience)

What We Offer:

  • Salary range £25,116 - £29,383 per annum
  • 25 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days
