Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract in a Teaching Assistant role, which will involve providing individual support to pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with additional educational needs in a primary or early years setting
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and motivate children to learn
  • Provide support using good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Be fair, apply equal opportunities, and understand the importance of confidentiality
  • Be resilient, optimistic, and believe that with the right support, all children can make effective progress
  • Work as part of a team and use your own initiative
  • Commit to ongoing personal professional development
