Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day workload and future planning associated with the operations of our UK business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating transport and labour, including company employees and subcontractors
  • Managing sub-contractor relationships and verifying documentation
  • Coordinating the scheduling and execution of installations, including managing internal teams and subcontractors
  • Receiving work programmes from customers and project managers, assessing jobs, and planning routes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our task allocation system
  • Communicating task information, requirements, instructions, and issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Analyzing driver tachograph reports and generating purchase orders/approving associated invoices
  • Assisting with timesheets and expenses
Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Team player with good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Driving license
