We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • To work within the multi-professional team managing the medical care of children and young people with acquired or congenital heart disease.
  • To develop a skill set for the paediatric cardiac intensive care environment, working within the four pillars of ACP.
  • To contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, quality improvement, audit, and research.
  • To lead and manage a team, with a focus on supporting colleagues and promoting a positive working environment.

Requirements:

">
  • A minimum of a master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent experience.
  • Registered as a non-medical prescriber (independent prescriber) and actively practicing.
  • Demonstrable evidence in a portfolio of embedding ACP into clinical practice.
  • Skills training relevant to the role, ability to complete a competency and capability-based skill document for paediatric cardiac intensive care.
  • Evidence of previous IRMER training/radiology safety or willingness to update.

Working Arrangements:

">
  • Full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Salary Range: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum.
