Job Summary

Camulos Academy is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team. As a valued member of the teaching staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with various special educational needs, including Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND children in the primary age range, as well as knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and behaviour management strategies. You will be motivated to work with children with special educational needs and inspire confidence in them.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working directly with teachers to support children's learning
• Using your initiative and skills to enhance the quality of teaching and learning
• Maintaining confidentiality and building effective relationships with students, parents, and staff

You will thrive in a friendly, busy environment and have a sympathetic understanding of the emotional, social, and intellectual needs of children with special educational needs.

Salary Information

This fixed-term position offers a salary of £24,027 - £24,790 per annum, based on a part-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year.
