Care Team Lead

Nexgen Locum seeks a compassionate and experienced Care Team Lead to join our residential care team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in a safe and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a residential care setting, with a strong background in leading by example and promoting positive relationships with residents. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

**Estimated Salary:** £14.00-£16.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
**Working Hours:** 168 - 173 hours per month
Job Description:- Act as a primary point of contact for residents, fostering positive relationships and providing consistent support.
- Develop, review, and monitor care plans, ensuring they align with residents' needs and goals.
- Support team members with guidance and training, promoting best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate activities that promote personal development and independence.
- Manage challenging situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a safe environment.
- Liaise with families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure holistic care.
**Requirements:** Relevant experience in a residential care setting, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
