Primary SEN Teacher Job

The school in Hampton is looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated primary teacher for a key role in their expanding primary department. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with children who have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and autism. As a result of the massive expansion project, the school is seeking teachers with QTS and a proven track record in special education.

This teaching role involves working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream or special school setting. The ideal candidate will believe that all children are capable of making outstanding progress and have experience of working with children who have SEN. The school provides a comprehensive induction and inset programme for staff, a pension scheme, and well-being benefits including an employee assistance programme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students with SEN in a primary class setting
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Salary Estimate: £45,000 - £65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
