Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified Primary SEN Teacher (QTS) to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Hackney. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and sensory needs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with ASD, SpLD, and challenging behaviour. You will work closely with a dedicated team, including two TAs and HLTAs, to provide individualised support and create a safe learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with ASD, SpLD, and sensory needs in Years 4-6
  • Incorporate Zones of Regulation techniques to help students manage emotions
  • Liaise with professionals to conduct Annual Reviews and plan ongoing support
