Clinical Research Nurse for Translational Studies in Biomedical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

As a Research Nurse in our Biomedical Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in translational research studies and clinical trials. You will be responsible for implementing innovative medical technologies, collaborating with clinicians, academics, and researchers to conduct first-in-human trials, and providing expert advice on clinical research governance.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse or midwife with an NMC Qualification or other relevant medical or health care related qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in clinical research
  • Previous experience with patients and public involvement in research
  • Project management skills, with the ability to organise own work with minimal supervision and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
