The Role

As a Senior Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of clinical research activities on site from potential study identification through close out and archiving.

This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in clinical research and managing high-level research activities for trial set up. You will engage in internal and external audits, promote compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and act as an advocate for patients, site teams, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake nursing activities relating to clinical trials from start-up to close-out, working to ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Review research protocols, identify and coordinate training and education requirements for clinical reports
  • Contribute to the recruitment and retention of patients into trials, ensuring commercial success at the site level
  • Screening and randomisation of potential study participants
  • Conduct informed consent discussions and take informed consent
  • Complete study procedures such as phlebotomy, vital signs, and ECG, and review medical histories
  • Administer medication as needed
  • Schedule trial visits and track enrolled trial participants
  • Complete and organise regulatory documents
  • Communicate with sponsors, regulators, and third-party vendors

Requirements:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Experience in trial delivery in a Clinical Research Facility would be advantageous
  • Team player with sensitivity to the space they're working in
