About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
