About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counter Manager to join our team at Skin + Me. As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of In-Store Skincare Specialists and driving sales growth in our John Lewis, Oxford Street counter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of In-Store Skincare Specialists by motivating staff and delegating roles, ensuring sales targets are met, and high customer service standards are maintained
  • Be responsible for achieving and exceeding in-store sales targets agreed with the National Field Sales & Education Manager through delegating to Skincare Specialists and leading by example with customers
  • Through daily team meetings, effective communication, and recognition of positive work, you will ensure the in-store teams remain motivated and work to achieve individual and counter targets
  • Working with the Field Sales & Education team and the Skincare Specialists, you will create innovative ways to improve customer experience and achieve sales targets, including hosting events and new product launches
  • Ensure the counter remains stocked at all times and report any concerns to the National Field Sales & Education team immediately
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with the retailer and department store staff
  • You will be responsible for ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly administration is completed to a high standard
  • You will ensure staff rotas and timesheets are completed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Knowledge of skincare concerns, ingredients, and product formulations is a plus, but training will be provided by our Skin + Me Experts
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
