About the Role
As a Senior Counter Terrorism Policing Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the Building Management Team (BMT) in delivering a range of business support services to the Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ).
The team provides services nationally and internationally, and you will be responsible for managing the delivery of procurement, building and accommodation management, locker management, and escorting contractors in sensitive areas.
You will undertake day-to-day problem solving, performance management, and support continuous improvement, requiring a high level of planning and organizational skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the CTPHQ team and contribute to the effective delivery of services to the entire UK CT Policing network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BMT in delivering business support services
- Manage the delivery of procurement, building and accommodation management, locker management, and escorting contractors
- Undertake day-to-day problem solving, performance management, and support continuous improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and efficiency
What You'll Need
- A high level of planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience of working in a similar role or industry
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £37,289 per annum, including allowances totalling £2,841
- A basic salary of £34,448, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale of £36,864
- A location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000
