About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our rented housing and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting in domestic and commercial buildings, including stripping and papering walls, ceilings, and staircases.
  • Use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first-time fix where it is efficient and appropriate to do so.
  • Contribute to the provision of good quality rented housing and the achievement of high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  • Protect health and safety by carrying out work in a safe and efficient manner.
About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter who has:

  • Experience of working in all aspects of painting works.
  • Qualified, certified & trained Joiner to NVQ3 or C&G Advance Craft.
  • Full and valid driving licence.
  • Experience of communicating with customers with differing needs.
  • Experience of carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and the root cause of issues and implement lasting solutions.
  • A well-organised and a methodical approach to completing tasks and prioritisation skills.
