Audio Programmer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audio Programmer to join our team at a Leamington Spa based studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing high-quality audio in our new AAA PC/Console project.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an award-winning team, where you will be responsible for tasks such as implementing sounds in-game and ensuring they align with the realistic feel of the title. You will also have experience of being aware of distant/close sounds and be responsible for writing and maintaining Audio Libraries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement high-quality audio in our new AAA PC/Console project
  2. Work closely with the Technical Director to own the Audio side of the project
  3. Develop and maintain Audio Libraries
  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality audio implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience as an Audio Programmer in the games industry
  2. Past experience on Console or PC platforms
  3. An eye (and ear) for detail
  4. Experience with Wwise, FMOD or similar
  5. Experience on Audio for racing games is a big plus
  6. Unreal Engine experience is a big plus
