About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio Programmer to join our AAA Console Studio team in Leamington Spa. As a key member of our audio team, you will be responsible for implementing high-quality audio experiences in our new AAA PC/Console project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing audio assets and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and realism.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Director to develop and maintain audio libraries and ensure seamless integration with the game engine.
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure audio assets are optimized for performance and meet the project's technical requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining audio tools and pipelines to support the project's audio needs.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to junior team members on audio-related tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Audio Programmer in the games industry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality audio experiences.
  • Experience working on Console or PC platforms, with a deep understanding of audio implementation and optimization.
  • Strong C++ programming skills, with experience using audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on AAA Console games, with a strong understanding of the technical and creative challenges involved.
