About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Programmer to join our team at Amiqus - Games Recruitment Specialists. As an Audio Programmer, you will be responsible for implementing sounds in-game and ensuring they coincide with the realistic feel of the title.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Technical Director and own the Audio side of the project. You will have the chance to work with experienced Games veterans creating some of the best games out there, and contribute to the development of a new AAA PC/Console project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implementing sounds in-game and ensuring they meet the required quality standards
  2. Collaborating with the Technical Director to develop the Audio strategy for the project
  3. Writing and maintaining Audio Libraries to support the game's audio needs
  4. Working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of audio assets
  5. Providing expert advice on audio-related matters to ensure the game meets the required standards
Requirements
  1. Experience as an Audio Programmer in the games industry
  2. Past experience on Console or PC platforms
  3. An eye (and ear) for detail
  4. Experience with Wwise, FMOD or similar audio middleware
  5. Experience on Audio for racing games is a big plus
  6. Unreal Engine experience is a big plus
