Autism Education Support Worker

We are seeking an inspirational and creative Learning and Behavioural Assistant to join our school community in Oxfordshire.
The Role
You will support the delivery of teaching and learning, reporting to the Class Teacher and Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity for you to model best practice and enable successful learning and achievement in young people.
A suitable candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will have excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
In return for your expertise and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £22,667 FTE* (£17,347.61 actual) and a fulfilling career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of teaching and learning, reporting to the Class Teacher and Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Promote sustained improvement in the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, mental, and physical well-being of students.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
About the Salary:
The salary for this role is £22,667 FTE*, which is equivalent to an actual salary of £17,347.61 per year. In addition to the base salary, you will also receive additional allowances, including £750 SSA pro rata and £1,000 regional allowance.
