Parenting Capacity Assessment Specialist

A challenging yet rewarding social work opportunity has arisen at Sheldon Phillips Ltd in North London. As a social worker within the Parenting Capacity Assessment Team, you will contribute to the delivery of specialist parenting programmes and conduct timely and thorough parenting assessments.
This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary of £39,934 - £51,574 per annum. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting PAM assessments using a psychodynamic framework, familiarity with parenting programs, and a strong understanding of family dynamics.
In this role, you will evaluate risk and need levels for children and young people in care, protection plans or identified as children in need, and deliver protective services ensuring child safety and well-being. Collaboration with parents and professionals from various agencies is also essential.
To succeed in this position, you will need a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Social Work, registration with Social Work England (SWE), and excellent communication skills. A car driver with access to a vehicle is desirable.
