We are looking for a skilled Family Assessment Coordinator to join our Parenting Capacity Assessment Team in North London.

This is a full-time permanent position as a specialist within the team, working on court-directed parenting capacity assessments and delivering specialist parenting programmes.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for conducting thorough parenting assessments, evaluating risk and need levels for children and young people, and implementing care plans through collaboration with parents and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments using a psychodynamic framework to understand family dynamics.
  • Evaluate risk and need levels, identifying areas for improvement and developing effective care plans.
  • Implement care plans, ensuring child safety and well-being through protective services.

About You:

  • Must have experience in conducting PAM assessments, using a psychodynamic framework to understand family dynamics.
  • Familiarity with parenting programs and experience in conducting them to support families is essential.
  • A car driver with access to a vehicle is desirable.
  • A Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Social Work and registration with Social Work England (SWE) are required qualifications.
