Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Customer-Focused Supply Chain Coordinator to enhance our operations, specifically to optimize sales for the Hovis portfolio of branded and customer brand SKUs.

The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners within Hovis and our retail partners, employing a professional approach to analyze systems and data. This role is crucial for making informed decisions that will enhance sales opportunities and ensure the availability of Hovis products.

This position will be based in a hybrid working environment, collaborating with both Hovis and retail supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance product availability and minimize waste through effective use of replenishment and reporting systems.
  • Ensure maximum availability of all Hovis products while maintaining waste within acceptable limits.
  • Address any issues impacting product availability or supply.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by working with relevant category teams to address gaps.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, manage forecast accuracy, and coordinate stock allocations as necessary.
  • Organize and lead performance meetings with senior category demand planners.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with management to align on future objectives.
  • Manage promotional and seasonal events effectively.
  • Consult on and implement additional value-adding activities in agreement with the category demand manager.

The successful candidate will possess a genuine passion for their work and the brand, demonstrating ownership and the ability to influence various stakeholders positively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • A-Level education or equivalent.
  • Proficient in data management and accurate data entry.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
  • Self-motivated individual who proactively drives change.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with retail metrics, including demand, waste, and availability.
  • Experience in data analysis using Excel or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders to implement change.
