We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bank General Practitioner to join our team at Practice Plus Group, a leading provider of NHS services to secure environments. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients with diverse needs and backgrounds, providing high-quality clinical care and support.
About the Role
As a Bank General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients, making timely decisions regarding future management, and prescribing medications as needed. You will also have the opportunity to work with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
- Prescribe medications as needed and regularly review medications and monitor repeat prescriptions
- Participate in clinical governance and effectiveness activities, including diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification and inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
