Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Healthcare Science Assistant/Senior Healthcare Science Assistant to join our Cardiology team at the Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing 12-lead ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors, working independently in an ECG team, and obtaining a professional ECG qualification with the SCST.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties of the role include:
- Performing 12-lead ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors
- Working independently in an ECG team
- Obtaining a professional ECG qualification with the SCST
- Treating patients with dignity and respect
- Making a positive difference to patients' experiences
- Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience performing 12-lead ECGs
- Experience fitting ambulatory ECG/BP monitors
- Basic ECG knowledge and ability to recognise significant abnormalities
