Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrocardiography Specialist to join our Cardiology team at the Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre. This role is part of a government programme to improve local access to diagnostic testing.

The Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre will deliver approximately 100,000 outpatient tests a year, including CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, blood tests, and Respiratory services. This will provide quicker and easier access to diagnostic testing for the communities in and around Newmarket.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing 12-lead ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors. They will work independently in an ECG team and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience and be willing to work towards a SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography. They will also have experience in a healthcare environment, performing 12-lead ECGs, and fitting ambulatory ECG/BP monitors.
