Key Responsibilities

As a Radiology Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting both patients and healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with radiologists and sonographers to enhance patient experiences within the Radiology Department.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of diagnostic ultrasound sessions while effectively communicating with the multidisciplinary team in a busy setting.
  • Gaining knowledge and confidence in managing ultrasound lists, while assisting in documenting examination details under the supervision of a Sonographer.
  • Achieving various competencies during your tenure, ensuring you are well-prepared to meet the demands of your position.
  • Receiving training on the trust's IT systems, including e-care and CRIS.
