Nurse Practitioner for Children

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Chichester. This role involves working with children and young people who have complex health needs, providing specialist care and support in the community.
About the Role
This post requires a registered nurse with experience in child healthcare, particularly in a community setting. The successful candidate will be able to assess healthcare needs, provide teaching on equipment and treatment regimes, and work collaboratively with other agencies. A full driving license and ability to work flexibly are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to children and young people with complex health needs
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure seamless provision of care
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
- Provide teaching and guidance to others within the team
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation of care interventions
Requirements
- Registered Nurse - Child qualification
- Current registration with the NMC
- Minimum 1 year experience in child healthcare
- Ability to assess healthcare needs and provide teaching and guidance
- Full driving license and ability to work flexibly
Estimated Salary: £38,000-£48,000 per annum
