About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in setting up standards, promoting change and developing nursing practice, supervision and audit.
  • Deputise for the manager in their absence.
  • Ensure the delivery of high standards of nursing care to all service users, in accordance with evidence-based professional practice and trust policies.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Substantial post-registration experience.
  • Experience as a Band 5 in an acute inpatient setting.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Clinical supervision and mentoring experience.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Mentoring students in line with professional requirements.
  • Successful completion of a preceptorship programme.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
