Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of medicines management pharmacy technicians and assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy, with experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced pharmacy professional to take on a leadership role within our trust. You will work closely with our principal pharmacy technician to develop and implement strategies to improve medicines management services across the trust. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants
- Develop and implement strategies to improve medicines management services across the trust
- Work closely with the principal pharmacy technician to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery
- Monitor and evaluate service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements
- BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualification
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality patient care
- Strong knowledge of medicines management initiatives and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
