Teaching Personnel is a national company providing high-impact, 1:1 tuition for young people with special educational needs (SEN), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and Lower Learning Levels.

Job Overview

We are looking for Maths and English tutors in Northampton and surrounding areas to support students of all ages from Primary level to GCSE. As a tutor, you will work with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC).

About the Role
  • Provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space e.g. library, community centre, etc.
  • Plan resources around the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.

You will need to:

  • Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or have SEN/ SEMH experience
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children.
Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this role is £25-30 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer access to free safeguarding and CPD courses, as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
