Theatre Nurse Manager Position

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold an NMC or HCPC registration. As a theatre manager, key responsibilities include:
- Effective communication with stakeholders, including hospital departments and consultants.
- Establishing a leadership presence on the Hospital Management Team, driving collaboration and leadership between departments.
- Communicating and embedding the hospital's vision and strategy.
- Facilitating staff training, revalidation, and CPD requirements, promoting a professional profile.
- Clinical supervision and participation as appropriate.
- Managing a team of nurses, healthcare support workers, allied healthcare professionals, and other staff, supervising and supporting team members, and coordinating the multidisciplinary team.
Desirable skills and experience for the role include:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and managerial experience in senior positions.
- Experience working in the independent sector is desirable.
- Effective budgetary management experience is desirable.
- Promoting and maintaining best practice in health, safety, and security.
- Demonstrating understanding of and engagement with Quality programs, e.g. AfPP Audit pack.
- Prioritizing workload and that of others.
- Commitment to providing safe, effective, and timely patient-centered care in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct, Nursing & Midwifery Strategy, and HCPC Standards of Conduct.
The successful theatre manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 - £44,000 per annum.
