Theatre Nurse Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Nurse Manager to join our esteemed private hospital in Chelmsford, Essex.

This exceptional opportunity will enable you to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to provide exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Establish yourself as a key member of the Hospital Management Team, driving leadership and collaboration to ensure efficient provision of healthcare services.
  • Communicate and embed the hospital's vision and strategy.
  • Ensure staff fulfill mandatory training, revalidation, and CPD requirements, maintaining a professional profile.
  • Facilitate clinical supervision and participate appropriately.
  • Manage a team of nurses, healthcare support workers, allied healthcare professionals, and other staff, supervising and supporting team members, coordinating the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience and managerial experience in senior positions.
  • Experience working in the independent sector is desirable.
  • Prioritize own workload and that of others.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and engagement with Quality programs, e.g. AfPP Audit pack.
  • Committed to providing safe, effective, and timely patient-centered care in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct, Nursing & Midwifery Strategy, and HCPC Standards of Conduct.
