Residential Officer Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Residential Officer at Oaklands College. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for positively engaging with residential students and delivering enrichment activities that promote positive behaviours and support student transition into independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver enrichment activities that cater to diverse student needs, particularly those in the 16-19 age range.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize events and activities that foster a sense of community among students.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them develop essential life skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs that promote student well-being and personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in providing enrichment activities and support services to young people, particularly in the 16-19 age range.
